ITEAMS MISSIONARY ADDRESSES HOUSE COMMITTEE ON INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
As the world looks forward to the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the U.S. House Committee on International Relations' Subcommittee on Africa, Global Human Rights, and International Operations is assessing the impact of such a gathering on prostitution and the trafficking of women and children into the sex trade. A hearing on May 4th in Washington centered around the topic of Germany's World Cup Brothels: 40,000 Women and Children at Risk of Exploitation through Trafficking.
