A STORY OF TRIUMPH

In days that are marked with grave suffering around the world, we cannot forget to also celebrate moments of hope. An ITeams missionary recently told us about one such moment in the life of a refugee named Francis*:

"Six years ago we landed in Austria, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally devastated from pain, sorrow, loss of what we hold dear and separated from kit and kin with no knowledge of what the future holds for us. Today we see the mighty hand of God in every step of the way and we also see how gracious and merciful the Lord has been unto us. We are [still] waiting for our [asylum] papers but we have the full assurance that we will receive them. We are blessed and continue to be blessed and we give all the praise, honor, and thanksgiving to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Our path has not been all rosy and easy but we love Our Lord and Him shall we serve all the days of our lives wherever and whatever."
