Binda
Ten-year-old Binda* has the light of hope in her eyes since she joined an ITeams project in India. ITeams began 50 years ago by sending teams to India and is needed there more than ever, where only 50% of children receive education, and 2 million under age 5 die each year—the highest number anywhere in the world. Around the world, we’re bringing nutrition, education, healthcare and the riches of Christ to thousands of impoverished people.

Lauren
Lauren* was kidnapped from her home in Atlanta by human traffickers who threatened her family if she didn’t sell herself. Rescued in a prostitution sting, she is now back home with her family. Our anti-slavery ministry aids victims like Lauren and helps the vulnerable avoid enslavement. Today’s slaves are those physically oppressed in labor or sex trafficking. 27 million people are bound in human trafficking worldwide.

Dr. Benjamin
Dr. Benjamin* is on the run for his life. Rejecting what he describes as “hypocrisy in Islam,” he led covert operations against the Taliban and Islamic militants in Pakistan. As a result, he and his family live under the constant threat of persecution and even death. When Benjamin fled the darkness in his country, he found Jesus. ITeams refugee ministries are a beacon bringing spiritual light to many. Globally, 42 million people live as refugees.

Charles
Christ’s love is penetrating spiritual darkness in France where only .1% of the population is Evangelical. “It costs a lot to be a young Christian in France,” says Elizabeth Musser, International Teams member. Students in the church of 200 where Musser and her husband, Paul, serve caught a vision to shine Christ’s light in their schools.
Christian students in the church’s youth group set out to reach their peers, boldly sharing their faith in relationships and hosting outreach camps. Neighborhood street concerts and ski trips became fun, attractive places for students to share the gospel with other students from their school.
