First, we encourage you to start by speaking with your local church pastor or missions leader. Why?  Because we believe that the Church is God’s agent of transformation in the world! Through it, the gospel reaches the ends of the earth. IT is committed to helping local churches live as missional communities and expand their global influence.

The local church is the sending agent for cross-cultural workers. We desire to partner together in the sending of short term and long term workers. We seek true partnerships where local churches can make a long-term strategic impact in specific places around the world.

After that you will be contacted by one of our Partner Mobilizers who will personally coach and pray with you as you explore different ministry opportunities with International Teams.

When you feel ready to move ahead, you should fill out our Application for Missional Service.

Once we receive your application we will contact your references, including your sending church, and begin the review process.

We will walk you and your church through the entire process and be available to answer all of your questions.

We’ll discover with you how God has equipped you for ministry.

We’ll train you and give you tools you’ll need to be successful on the field.

We’ll also show you how to build a ministry team to support you during your assignment and beyond.

Depending on your anticipated length of service, we suggest that you apply 3-18 months before your anticipated departure. The earlier you apply, the sooner you can start raising prayer and financial support, and begin other aspects of preparation for ministry.
