OUR FOCUS

This trip is design for those who are seriously considering long-term ministry in the Arabian Peninsula. Your team will spend a few days in language study to get a feel for what Arabic study is like. During evenings you will host English clubs and will meet and build relationships with local Arabs. You will spend time with long-term workers from a number of agencies and visit ministry projects. This is a unique opportunity to put to the test your interest in this difficult part of the world.

This team offers a fantastic opportunity to get to know and share your faith with students in a university setting. You will lead small groups in conversational English or German. For two weeks you wil have opportunities to share about your life and faith in formal morning classes. You will start with ordinary subjects and progress to sharing the gospel. Many students have come to know the Savior through this annual program. Hours before and after will be open for individual time with students, learning about the culture, outings, and social times. You may choose to stay on for a further week to maximize your effectiveness in building friendships and sharing. Previous cross-cultural experience required.

Come and learn first hand of the many ministry possibilities available in a Middle Eastern country. This team offers a wonderful cross-cultural opportunity for those who sense that God may be leading them to an Arab Islamic country. If you are involved in your church mission program or have a desire to mobilize the church to reach Muslims, this team is designed for you. You will learn about local culture, language study opportunities, community development, educational and health care entry opportunities, and evangelism and discipleship ministries.

The purpose of this team is to minister to the children of Christian workers living in difficult places in Central Asia. This short-term team of dedicated children workers will run a four day program of fun and learning for the kids of missionary families as they gather for a ministry retreat. Team members will get to know many missionary families and learn about their church planting ministries. In addition, team members may choose to take a few extra days to visit cultural sites following the retreat.

If you love kids, camp work, and have a heart for at-risk children, this team is for you. We are looking for those with experience in sports instruction, arts and crafts, music and worship, drama, dance, storytelling, swim instruction, medical, health and nutrition education, counseling and psychology. Working with a team of local staff, you will help run a week-long camp for a group of very needy children in this Muslim region of Russia.

Build friendships with university aged students in a Muslim restricted access country as you provide instruction in computer skills or help in the development of an area computer network. This team is open to those who have computer skills in network administration, wireless LAN, administering Window's Server 2000-2003, and/or web design. Team members will also be encouraged to spend time with their local host family during the week. This is a great opportunity to see the mission field and assist long-term workers as they touch the lives of Muslim students.
