OUR MISSION
As God leads, the Central Team of Bosnia will partner with fellowships of local believers to help initiate a church planting movement throughout central Bosnia.
THE TEAM
We are a small team composed by myself( Walter Goncalves) Maria da Penha( from Brazil) Jurij Synij and family( from Ukraine) and expecting a new family from Brazil to arrive in August (09) for a two year term.
OUR MINISTRY - WEBSITE
Our ministry in Zenica has 2 components; church planting and humanitarian services. We work with the local Baptist church and are involved in discipleship and working with children & youth. The humanitarian services we provide include: food distribution, school supply distribution & scholarships, We started a new church plant in 09/08 with about 30 attendees mostly children and youth. We have a house group every Thursday and a prayer meeting in Portuguese every Tuesday. We purchased a piece of land 4 miles from Zenica to build a bible camp. youth transit center( focused in orphans) a nursing home( for elderly) and a farm to provide jobs, opportunities and resources for the ministry and people from the church
