Ecuador - Quito (Youth World)

We exist to identify, teach and equip leaders to impact young people and families to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

Youth World operates with an experienced and talented team of 55 missionaries, interns and national staff.

Youth World is a blend of 2 year missionaries, career missionaries, national employees and short-term interns.

We have 3 different nationalities represented on our team including: Ecuador, United States, and Canada.

Youth World has choses 6 key areas of focus to target in our goals of "identifying, teaching and equipping leaders" around the world. The 6 areas are:

• La Red Juvenil: Training, networking, identifying, equipping youth workers throughout Ecuador. We do conferences, training events, coaching & mentoring and provide resources to leader.
• Expatriate Ministries: English speaking youth ministry in Quito targeting the Alliance Academy, Cotopaxi International School and English Fellowship Church. This is a blend of discipleship, programming and leadership training.
• Short-Term Teams: We expose churches, schools and organizations to missions, ministry and the world by creating short-term experiences for them. We do this through exposure and ministry trips, work projects and adventure missions.
• Leader Mundial: We've developed training centers in Bolivia and in Eastern Cuba, and we network strategic leaders throughout Latin America, South Africa and Europe.
• Hacienda El Refugio: A 320 acre training and retreat center 30 minutes from Quito. We use a blend of outdoor adventure and nature to build and equip leaders and to expose people to God.
• Casa Gabriel: A home and training program for 10 former street boys living in Quito. The boys are discipled, taught, loved, cared for, encouraged and equipped as leaders.
