* Planting/pioneering new youth groups in churches throughout Costa Rica and Latin America
* Missions trips to other Latin American countries as well as North America
* Hosting North American youth groups SEMP Conferences-(Students Equipped to Minister to Peers) designed to equip high school students in apologetics and evangelism so they can reach their peers

Facilities Manager
  Facilities Manager Latin American Multiplication Center
The Latin American Multiplication Center (LAMC) a non-denominational evangelical ministry located in Costa Rica is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to fill the position of Facilities Manager. The main focus of ministry at the LAMC is on the training of Latinos, especially youth, in the process of discipleship as well as training individuals to be missionaries throughout the world.
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of the LAMC and will ensure that all those either employed or receiving services at the LAMC have acceptable working conditions. Duties vary based on the needs of the LAMC, but the Facilities Manager generally will focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
This is a wide field with a diverse range of responsibilities. The Facilities Manager will be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and the campus. Likely areas of responsibility include:
• maintain events calendar;
• coordinate and plan events;
• procurement and contract management;
• building and grounds maintenance;
• cleaning;
• health and safety;
• security;
• utilities and communications infrastructure;
• space management.
While the day-to-day duties of the Facilities Manager will vary widely, some of the duties may include:
• coordinate all events occurring at the LAMC which includes maintaining the calendar of events and being the contact person for use of the LAMC;
• project management and supervising and coordinating work of contractors;
• investigating availability and suitability of options for new premises;
• calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money;
• planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives;
• managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
• directing and planning essential central services such security, maintenance, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling;
• ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements;
• planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises;
• checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies;
• coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility;
• using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement;
• responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
