OUR MISSION
The IT Fresno team seeks to come alongside the local church and together be vessels that learn, interceed, teach, disciple and intentionally live in relationship with our neighbors. In partnership with Bethany InnerCity Church nurture leaders and make disciples who are God chasers and God worshipers, to empower people with Kingdom values that flood the neighborhood with Good News and a greater passion for shalom.
THE TEAM
Nancy Donat is the team leader with the rest of the team consisting of Amy Coombs, Sarah Brady and Lindsay Hamm. Nancy has lived and worked in the community for 8 years. Amy, Sarah and Lindsay are all interns who serve according to their giftedness in worship, food distribution ministry, with children, youth and women.
OUR MINISTRY
International Teams Fresno partners with Bethany Inner City Church and works in the Lowell neighborhood in downtown Fresno. Our church visibly reflects the neighborhood in that we are of multiple ethnic and social groups. While once being the city's wealthiest neighborhood, the Lowell community is now a neighborhood of concentrated poverty in Fresno.
We are a relational ministry that works in a holistic manner to minister to the physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs of individuals and families. We see ourselves as a bridge from the neighborhood to the church and from the church to the neighborhood. We are involved in regular activities for children, teens and adults, such as Bible Studies, Reading Club, Youth Group, Health Faire, Food Distribution Ministry, Crisis Counseling, Sunday Worship, Prayer Walks and much more.
