To demonstrate and proclaim Jesus' love among the immigrant and refugee communities of Carlton, to plant churches among these people groups-- especially Horn of Africa communities, and
to replicate this ministry over time in nearby inner city communities.

A local church, acting on a vision from the Lord has established a small church planting team in this community for the last 10 years.

In the last 5 years, the emphasis has moved to working predominantly among Muslims, especially Somali, Eritrean, Turkish people groups.

There is a small multicultural church meeting, and the team is involved in a large amount of ministry including:

• Evangelism
• Distribution of Jesus videos
• High school tutoring
• Homework group
• Drama group
• Sewing group
• English classes/tutoring
• Computer tutoring
• Art/furniture Workshop
• Home maintenance, and furniture provision
• Kids club
• Camping program
• Holiday programs
• Youth sports
• Visiting
• Community meals/events

The team is committed to ministry that is:
