OUR MISSION

TEAM VISION By developing relationships with refugees, we want to reach them with the good news of Jesus, encouraging them towards a mature Christian life.
To work alongside, train, equip and empower the local church in Sydney to reach refugees and asylum seekers with the gospel.

THE TEAM

We are a team of four teams members passionate to demonstrate the Love of Jesus and make disciples amongst the forcefully displaced people in our world.
We are working alongside an ever-increasing number of Church groups and volunteers and have contacts with refugees from many countries such as: Iran, Iraq, the Congo, Afghanistan, Rwanda, Burundi, Burmese, Sudan and Sri Lanka.

Train, empower, equip and release the local church in local refugee ministry.
Bring the Love of Jesus to refugees through building great relationships, unconditional exceptance and on going encouragement.
Help find jobs, accommodation, furniture and appliances to meet relevant needs.
Provide refugee health transportation on behalf of other agencies
We build awareness of world and local refugee issues amongst interested groups and church congregations.

	Speaking in churches and training group to work in refugees ministry with material we have developed here.	1 year or more

Team Members
	Building relationships with Refugees, helping them, leading Bible Studies, whatever needed for building relationships and reaching out to them. Other events to include when organizing your week are the weekly team meetings, visiting refugees, training volunteers and time away from ministry related activities.	1 year or more

OPPORTUNITES TO GIVE

Health Run Project
	We have volunteered to help make some special refugee clinics work well be providing transportation to refugee families on behalf of other agencies. This has grown so much that we have to look at covering our travel expenses and vehicle maintains costs as it all funded out of our person pockets at this stage.	300 AUD
New Team Bus
	We need to have a bigger more reliable team bus as many of the family we are working with have very large families and the needs are great. Or team van is very old and is costing a lot to keep running.	50,000 AUD
